Elemental Dreams An Urban Fantasy Series The Eldritch Files Book 9 eBook Phaedra Weldon

Lady Darksome!
Thought I was gone, didn’t you? So did I. But apparently slipping into that good night wasn’t my plan.
I just wish I’d have left myself a note. Or a Facebook message. Hell, even a Snapchat…chat. That way I could have prepared everyone, including me, for what was to come.
And I could have saved my love from so much heartbreak.
Elemental Dreams An Urban Fantasy Series The Eldritch Files Book 9 eBook Phaedra Weldon
Sam was dead and Crwys has disappeared without a trace. Those left behind have a huge hole in their heart, that is partially filled by raising the couples baby girl, Elizabeth. As everyone keeps Lizzie’s birth and life a secret from those who might not understand or wish her harm, something strange is happening with the witches. Cosgrove is poking around at odd times asking about the possibility of a baby. Everyone knows Thorn is behind the rumors but can’t figure out he could possibly know the things he does. When Lizzie suddenly goes missing it’s all hands-on deck to find Crwys and Lizzie. It took me a long time to work up the courage to read the final book in this series. I was so heartbroken after book eight I wasn’t sure I’d be able to read where the story ended. Much to my delight it was worth the read! So, if you’re like me and have putting it off, STOP, go read it right now! I hope that Weldon will decide to write some books about other characters that showed up in this final book as well as some favorites. Each have stories left untold that would open a new realm of possibilities. Next up for Weldon is a new series called The Prophecy’s Edge which is a fantasy book about Elves.

Elemental Dreams An Urban Fantasy Series The Eldritch Files Book 9 eBook Phaedra Weldon Reviews
When I first started these books it started off slow. But, wow. Absolutely love all 9 books of this series! And I don't want them to end!!!!! Thanks Ms Phaedra Weldon for sharing your imagination with myself and all of your other readers!!!
I did not realize how much I had invested in these characters until Sam died, I felt it like a death in the family. As soon as I saw the notice for this book pop up in my email I downloaded it and started reading. I have since read it three times. I love how Sam's return was handled, and I consider this one of the best in the series. Thank you Ms Weldon for a very enjoyable read.
Thank you Phaedra Weldon for writing a frightening, twisting and turning, scary, wonderful, sad, exciting and loving end of this story. The Eldritch Files series is one of my favorites. I highly recommend it to readers out there who love stories about witches, werewolves, dragons, fairies, vampires and any otherworldly creatures and of course a few humans too. - Kathy Barber Doyle - 6/15/2017
This ending (at least for now...we never know what Phaedra will send us next!) made me really happy. My biggest problem was the editing, or lack thereof. Such a terrible distraction to have so many misspellings and have names of characters messed up and sentences that apparently started out one way but were changed .... yet not fully. Absolutely terrible editing. P I do wish we got to know more about Sam's new skills and powers. I feel like that's a big loose end, and hope it maybe leads to future stories!

If there's one thing I can't stand is when an author changes the story in a book.
I have barely started the book and the are talking about exhuming Sam's body. How this can not be allowed and how the COFFIN must be removed... In the last book her ASHES were in an URN on Kyle's and Jack's mantel piece!!! Exhumed, eh no...
Somehow I had managed to forget I had this book, and I love this series! I hate endings, and I'm not entirely sure this is one as authors are known to put out books after what feels like an ending, so I will of course go see if there's a next in the series.
This book brought together all the happenings after Sam dies. Crwys looses it, and doesn't know the baby lived. In the meantime, the rest of the gang end up dealing with Thorn, who has begun to make his play for the killing of all the people who stand in his way.
The excitement keeps the story going, and it definitely falls into the HAE books. I don't usually like those, but I'm glad this one leaves us happy.
Phaedra Weldon, I have loved your Elemental series from book one, and this one was no exception. Very well done!
This was a poorly edited book. A couple of samples..."if we hadn't of", "bare the weight". These are just two examples. The book is filled with them.
The jumble of characters the author keeps introducing--and very little of the main character of the series--leave little time to develop the story. The main set of characters that the author took the time to develop in the first few books seems to be an afterthought in the rush to bring in new ones. If you want to expand the series into books on other characters, that's fine. But don't use the last book of this series to do that while almost completely ignoring the main character.
The rushed happily ever after ending felt like the author realized she was almost at her limit for words and needed to wrap it up quickly. Another reviewer stated, I hope it's the last as I won't be reading any more of her books. I agree completely. The last two books of this series sealed the deal for me.
